- For Navik (DB): Candidates should have born between 01-10-1999 to 30-09-2003.

Qualification details:
For Coast Guard Navik(General Duty):
Candidates who are applying for the Coast Guard Navik(General Duty) should possess 10+2 with Maths & Physics as a subject in the course.
For Coast Guard Navik(Domestic Branch):
Candidates who are applying for the Coast Guard Navik(Domestic Branch) should possess 10th Class from a recognized board.
For Coast Guard Yantrik:
Candidates who are applying for the Coast Guard Yantrik should possess 10th Class, Diploma (Electrical/ Mech / Electronics & Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering) from a recognized board.

- Height: Minimum 157 CMS
- Chest: Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 CMS
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age + 10 percentage
- Hearing: Normal
- Visual Standard: 6/36 (Better Eye) and 6/36 (Worse Eye)
